Privacy Policy — Kam Kallaf: House Cost Ledger

Your data stays on your phone. The app does not collect, transmit or share any personal or financial data.

• Contracts, expenses and photos are stored only inside the app on your device (and in your own device backup, if enabled).
• iCloud sync (iPhone, can be turned off): a copy of your data is kept in your own iCloud Drive so it appears on your other devices. We have no access to it.
• The app-lock PIN is never stored; only a salted hash of it is kept in this device's Keychain, never synced to iCloud or included in backups. While the lock is on, Siri and the widget do not show amounts.
• The microphone and speech recognition are used only while you tap the record button, to turn your speech into text, on the phone itself: your voice is never sent to any server (not to us, not to Apple) and the recording is not kept. If your phone cannot recognise speech offline, the app tells you and you type the entry instead.
• The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to attach an invoice, receipt or contract.
• Face ID / fingerprint is verified by the operating system; the app never receives biometric data.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Settings → “Erase all data” deletes everything (including the iCloud copy with its invoice and warranty photos, and pending reminders); deleting the app deletes the data on the phone. Backup files you saved yourself, and the daily backups in the Files app, stay until you delete them.
